1) What this app does (summary)
• Spelling, grammar and AI-assisted language features. The App may provide spelling and grammar checking, AI email composing, replying and rewriting, translation, dictionary/synonym-related features, and other AI-assisted writing tools. When an AI-powered feature is used, the text you choose to submit and the generated response may be processed by our AI service provider, OpenAI, to provide the requested result. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models by default unless the API customer explicitly opts in. OpenAI may retain certain API content in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days by default, subject to endpoint-specific storage behavior and legal/security exceptions.
• Ads, analytics & diagnostics. We use Google AdMob to show ads and Firebase services for analytics and crash/diagnostic reporting. In regions where consent is required, Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) may be used to collect and honor your advertising and measurement choices.
• Premium subscriptions. The App may offer optional weekly and/or monthly premium subscriptions through Google Play Billing. Google Play processes the payment. We do not receive or store your full payment-card or bank-account details.
2) Data we collect and process
A. Data you provide
- Text you type, paste, or otherwise submit to features such as spelling/grammar checking, AI email writing, replying, rewriting, translation, and other AI-assisted language tools.
- Support messages if you contact us, including your email address and the content of your message.
B. Purchase and subscription information
- When you make or restore a purchase, Google Play Billing may provide the App with information such as the product/subscription identifier, purchase status, entitlement status, purchase token or related transaction metadata needed to activate, verify, maintain, or restore premium access.
- Your full payment-card number, bank-account number, or similar payment credentials are processed by Google Play and are not provided to us.
C. Data collected automatically (device/usage)
- App events & diagnostics: device model, operating-system version, app version, app interactions, coarse timestamps, crash logs, and performance/diagnostic information through Firebase services.
- Advertising data through AdMob: ad impressions, clicks/interactions, device information, approximate/coarse location where applicable, and identifiers such as the Advertising ID, depending on device settings, region, consent choices, and Google’s policies.
We do not intentionally collect government identification numbers, full payment-card or bank-account details, or precise GPS location as part of the App’s core functionality. Please avoid submitting sensitive or confidential personal information to AI features unless necessary.
3) How we use data
- Provide spelling, grammar, translation, AI writing, email composition, reply, rewrite, and related language features.
- Send user-selected text to OpenAI when needed to generate an AI-powered result.
- Activate, verify, maintain, and restore premium subscription entitlements.
- Improve app stability and quality through analytics, crash reporting, and diagnostics.
- Show and measure advertisements through AdMob, including fraud prevention and frequency capping.
- Provide customer support and respond to user requests.
- Protect the App, detect misuse, comply with applicable law, and enforce our rights.
4) Subscriptions & Google Play Billing
The App may offer optional premium subscriptions, including weekly and/or monthly plans. Purchases are processed through Google Play Billing and are subject to the price, billing period, trial or introductory terms (if any), and renewal information shown to you at the time of purchase.
- Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled in accordance with Google Play’s subscription terms.
- Uninstalling the App does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription.
- You can manage or cancel an eligible Google Play subscription through Google Play’s subscription management tools.
- Cancellation and refund eligibility are governed by Google Play’s applicable policies and local law.
- We use purchase/subscription information only as needed to provide and manage premium access, support restoration, prevent abuse/fraud, and meet legal or accounting obligations where applicable.
5) Legal bases (EEA/UK only)
- Consent: where required for personalized advertising, measurement, or other processing that relies on consent.
- Contract: to provide the App features and premium subscription functionality you request.
- Legitimate interests: app analytics, diagnostics, service security, fraud prevention, support, and improvement, where permitted by law.
- Legal obligations: where processing is required to comply with applicable law or valid legal requests.
6) Sharing & processors
- OpenAI (AI processing). When you use an AI-powered feature, we may send the text you choose to submit to OpenAI to generate the requested result. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models by default unless the API customer explicitly opts in. By default, abuse-monitoring logs may contain prompts, responses, and related metadata and may be retained for up to 30 days, unless longer retention is required by law or reasonably necessary for safety/security. Some API endpoints or features may have different application-state retention behavior.
- Google AdMob & User Messaging Platform (UMP). Used for advertising, consent management, fraud prevention, frequency capping, and measurement. Depending on consent, settings, region, and Google’s policies, Google may process device information, ad interactions, Advertising ID, and approximate/coarse location.
- Firebase Analytics / Crashlytics. Used for app analytics, diagnostics, performance monitoring, and crash reporting. Data may include app interactions, device/app information, installation identifiers, diagnostic logs, and crash stack traces.
- Google Play Billing. Used to process purchases and subscriptions and to provide information needed to activate, verify, maintain, or restore premium access. Google processes payment credentials directly; we do not receive your full payment-card or bank-account details.
We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect users, or to protect the rights, property, security, or integrity of UnitSol and the App. We do not sell personal information for money. Certain advertising or measurement practices may be treated as “sale” or “sharing” under some privacy laws; where applicable, available consent and opt-out choices are described below.
7) Retention
- AI text and outputs on UnitSol servers: We do not intentionally maintain a server-side history of your AI prompts or generated responses unless a particular feature clearly tells you otherwise.
- OpenAI API: OpenAI’s default abuse-monitoring logs may retain certain customer content for up to 30 days. Endpoint-specific application-state retention may differ, and longer retention may occur where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect services or third parties.
- Local app history: If a feature stores history locally on your device, it remains until you clear that history, delete the relevant app data, or uninstall the App, subject to Android backup/restore behavior where applicable.
- Analytics, advertising, and crash data: Retained according to our configuration and the applicable Google/Firebase/AdMob retention policies.
- Purchase/subscription information: Retained or processed for as long as necessary to provide premium access, restore purchases, resolve billing/support issues, prevent fraud, and meet applicable legal or accounting obligations.
- Support emails: Retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to and document your request.
8) International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live, including the United States and other jurisdictions. Where required by applicable law, transfers are handled using appropriate safeguards made available by the relevant service provider, such as contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
9) Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where required by applicable local law. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us improperly, please contact us.
10) Your choices & rights
Consent and advertising
- Where required, Google UMP may present consent choices for advertising and measurement. If the App provides a Privacy/Consent option in Settings, you can use it to revisit available choices.
- Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to opt out of certain personalized or cross-context behavioral advertising practices.
AI inputs and local history
- Avoid including sensitive, confidential, or unnecessary personal data in text submitted to AI-powered features.
- If the App stores feature history locally, use the available clear/delete-history option where provided, or clear the App’s local data through Android device settings.
Subscriptions
- You can manage or cancel Google Play subscriptions using the subscription-management options available through Google Play.
Privacy rights
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent.
- To submit a privacy request, contact arslantahir.engineer@gmail.com. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
11) Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, including encrypted network transport where supported, access controls, and least-privilege practices. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
12) Third-party links
The App may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices and terms are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.
13) Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our features, service providers, business practices, or legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted with an updated effective date. Where required, material changes may also be communicated in the App.
